Doug Sampson has three decades of technology, human resources and risk management experience. Most recently, he has completed the Insider Threat Program Evaluator (ITPE) certificate through Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute. His focus is on helping organizations reduce their risk of intellectual property theft, as well as compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Change 2. Through his career Doug has managed clients in several industry areas including federal business for the Office of Personnel Management and the Department of Defense, as well as private sector business for Association and Non-profit organizations. He has been trained in the art of cyber security and insider threat management by the very best institutions and mentors. Doug can provide insider threat program evaluations (InsiderAssess), program development, and training.
Jim Bastion has over 20 years experience in the United States Army and has served numerous tours of duty as a soldier and consultant supporting our nation's most recent conflicts. Jim has received two meritorious service medals, and multiple achievement, commendation and conduct medals for his service. His most recent mission was to train friendly forces in the protection and defense of mobility assets in theater. This includes combat, firearms and defensive training. Jim has developed and delivers our Dangerous Situation Insider Threat training that helps organizations prepare and develop awareness for conditions ranging from aggravated employees... all the way to active shooter situations. Jim is a NRA Certified Instructor permitting him to train all customers in handgun proficiency and safety, as well as concealed carry. As a two day course, Jim can help qualified individuals achieve their own NRA Instructor certification. Jim runs our Professional Firearms and Handgun Safety Training through Sote.pro, a division of Soteritech, LLC in the Washington, DC, metro area. He maintains an active secret clearance.
